Men's team dominate Tamworth

PVC Men showed why they are such a formidable opponent in this match. In a thoroughly efficient performance, they blew a capable Tamworth team away.

It had started inauspiciously with PVC gifting a 6-0 and a 8-2 lead to Tamworth with a series of awful digs, but soon, they began to show the determination, organisation and quality that has brought them 4 wins on the bounce.

Once PVC got into their stride, the sure first passes from Paul J, Dave and Mike fed Chris and Keith who were able to set up wave after wave of destructive attacks through Dave and Jordan.

Jordans hitting was, at times, frightening, and even with Tamworth employing a libero, they had no answer to those and the hitting of Paul J, through 4, Mike and Dave through the middle.

Geoff replaced Keith in the second set and provided us with the champagne moment of the match with a deftly disguised dump over the block when it looked for all the world as if he was about to send a set out to four.

More changes in the final set did nothing to stop the charge and PVC cantered to a 3-0 win.
