Comfortable start to the season for mixed team

Raj's mixed team eased through to a comfortable victory against an inexperienced Nuneaton team. Sporting five teenagers, all of whom have graduated through schools and power volleyball in Warwickshire, Nuneaton never managed to get going.

PVC were never troubled, but much of their work was untidy, with too many serves out, too many poor first passes and little coordinated attack.

Still, it was a victory and sets a marker to improve against. Nuneaton will improve as they get used to playing competitive volleyball against more experienced opponents.
